OpenOffice OOXML integration

Having seen OOXML support in Ubuntu’s OpenOffice 2.4, I was looking forward to OpenOffice of Fedora 9 managing OOXML files without any hitch. However, this was not to be. The command line solution existed (as detailed in my earlier post) , but i was lookin for a simpler solution.

it was then that i found this new tool, Odf-converter-integrator.It basically integrates all the command line processes to be performed when using Odf-converter and integrates them all into a double click.Hence, after installing the rpm, a double click on OOXML files creates a new ODF file of the same. Click on the link above and enjoy!!Follow the link above to download Odf-converter-integrator.

PS – Support ODF… not OOXML..
